The key advantage of the NX4 over the 2-valve NX1 is its 4-valve manifold body, which allows a single setup to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. The port configuration — one 3/8″ SAE vacuum port and three 1/4″ SAE ports for suction line, liquid line, and refrigerant recovery/charging — means technicians can evacuate, charge, and recover without repeatedly reconfiguring hose connections. Maximum manifold pressure is 1,087 psi (7,500 kPa).

3/8″ Vacuum Port for Fast Evacuation

The dedicated 3/8″ SAE vacuum port allows the use of large-diameter hoses directly from the manifold to the vacuum pump — significantly reducing flow restriction and evacuation time compared to systems that rely solely on 1/4″ connections. Combined with large-diameter hoses, the NX4 supports best-practice evacuation techniques for faster, deeper pulls.
