Drop In Anchors are a versatile medium duty anchor ideal for shallow embedments and should only be used in solid concrete. An expansion wedge inside the anchor is pushed towards the bottom end using a drop in anchor setting tool, producing an expansion force to set the anchor into the concrete. The single piece internally threaded expansion anchor suitable for solid base material.
Simple expansion with hammer blows, shallow embedment depth reduces clashes with reinforcement steel and can be loaded immediately after installation. Can be deep set below concrete surface or set flush. The internal thread is suitable for machined bolts or threaded rod.
